Warning for foreign nationals wishing to travel to the occupied territories of the 

Republic of Azerbaijan

We would like to remind all nationals of foreign countries wishing to travel to Nagorno Karabakh and other occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan that due to the continuing occupation by the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia those territories are temporarily out of control of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Any visit to the mentioned territories, which are internationally recognized integral part of Azerbaijan, without the consent of the Republic of Azerbaijan is considered as a violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity, breach of national legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as norms and principles of international law.

Once again we call all nationals of foreign countries to refrain from visits to the Nagorno Karabakh and other territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan occupied by armed forces of Armenia.

Persons who have visited occupied territories without the prior consent of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be denied the entry to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
